Web Development From Scratch

Days 1- 7: Learn the basics of web development and HTML
You have to start somewhere and someday right? Here is what you should start. Days 8- 15: Start adding styles to your Layouts - Learn CSS
The next step is to add some styling to your HTML web layouts. That can be done using CSS. If HTML is the skeleton of a web page, then CSS gives the muscles to your page. All the animations, colors, images that you see on a web page, all that is done with the help of CSS. Start with the basics of CSS such as background and font manipulation and learn up to advanced topics such as Pseudo-elements and classes and positioning in CSS.
Thus, by the end of these 15 days, you will be ready to create some simple static websites using HTML and CSS.
Day 16- 20: Understand what is Responsive Web Design and Learn CSS Media Queries
With the growing technologies and devices such as tablets and mobiles, Internet access has come into our pockets, and according to a stat, around 60% of people access various websites through their mobile phones. Thus, start understanding how responsive web development works and how we can make a website responsive to various devices. Learn CSS media queries that help for the same. With this, you will be able to turn your HTML-CSS websites into responsive sites that work well on mobile phones.
Once the base is strong, you can move and dive deep into JS. Learn various advanced JS concepts such as object manipulation, Object-oriented programming in JS, Various ES6 concepts such as requests and promises, arrow functions, and more. Learn about APIs and how to work with API’s using JS since it’s the base of any application to manipulate data. Thus, within these 30 days, you can become a master in JS Programming and then it will be a perfect time to take your JS skills to the web.
Day 51- 60: DOM AND Various JS Browser-based Objects
Day 61- 65: Learn Git and GitHub

Learn from the basics how to install Github, how to create a GitHub repository, How to perform various operations and more. As a developer, it’s a must-have skill in the pocket.
Day 66 - 80: Learn a CSS Framework - Bootstrap(Recommended)
This might be a good idea to learn Bootstrap after mastering HTML-CSS and JS. Why? Because until now you might be writing and creating all the layouts from scratch, thus Bootstrap might be a good idea to create web pages with ease. Learn bootstrap grid system and learn how to make it responsive using Bootstrap and how to create elements such as Button, alerts and so much more.
Day 81- 120: Learn JS Front End Framework - React (Recommended)
Modern websites required front end skills such as React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc. I would recommend React since it’s very powerful, simple, and most trending.
React is one of the most popular front end frameworks these days. React makes a simple website interactive without any backend support. Start with Basic of React such as React components, life-cycle, react routing, etc. As a web developer, React is an essential skill to have in the pocket.
Once basic is done and strong, move to the advanced React concepts to master React. Learn concepts such as Dynamic React, React statement management, Redux, React Hooks, etc. Mastering React ensures a strong web development career ahead.
Day 121- 135: Move to Database and Learn MongoDB
An application is incomplete with data and data in the application generally is stored and retrieved from the database. There are various databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc. But I would suggest MongoDB because it works well with the JS Stack and it is very easy for a beginner.
Start learning MongoDB basics such as basic CRUD operations, various filtering and manipulating operations, etc. Learn about the database integration with the front end and more.
Day 136- 160: Learn Node JS and Express
Once you learn express and node, you will be able to create any kind of full-fledged web application. Thus, becoming a full stack web developer.
Day 161- 170: Learn about Deployment and create Projects
Final steps are to find resources and places where you can deploy projects such as Heroku, Docker, AWS, and more While developing is an essential skill, deploying is something that one should know. Also, create some front-end as well as full-stack projects in this period to enhance your skills and add projects to your portfolio. Working on and creating projects at every stage will help you gain confidence and polish your skills.
Day 171-180: Start applying for Jobs!
Finally, it’s time to get the gains for all the pains! Start applying for jobs or to find people for whom you can create an application and get paid. Start looking for companies and search for job profiles that fit you and start applying! Prepare for the interview and have your resume and portfolio ready!
